Tough Mountain to Climb !

It is 6pm,Central time, and I tell you it feels like it should be MUCH later! We were able to get a ride from a friend of Shawn's to pick up Kelly from school and go to the "Urban Resources Department". We had to fill out a benefits change  form,on the off chance we receive food stamps again (and I am NOT talking about the $8.54 we received today!) we will be dealing with the state of Alabama and not New Hampshire. We had kept our benefits in New Hampshire so that we would not have to start completely over while things were still pending. Now that things appear to be decided we can make the changes. What are we going to lose, $8.54? I am in a terribly pessamistic mood! Tomorrow we will get up in the morning and try to figure out how Kelly will get to school and home again! Won't it be just great, we finally have her in school and she can't go because we do not have the gas to get her there and home again! Trust me when I tell you I hate coming here and complaining! My goal is not to be constantly complaining! In actuality I am not complaining, just letting you all know just what we are going through, the situation for the good, the bad and the ugly! Right now it is the ugly! We have had some bad, but we have also had good! When ugly shows up sometimes you forget the good! We are still clinging with all our might to our faith, even more so to keep the good and our hope in front us! We know with all of our heart that one day we'll look at this as a life lesson! Something you share and maybe even find something about it you can laugh about, hopfuly you take something away from it that changes you in a positive way! I believe that when we were able to get into our own place, that we thought things would fall into place. "Rome wasn't built in a day!" And that is what is trying our patience! Things aren't going quick enough! And that is a tough thing to tell those who are expecting something from you, like the Landlord and the water department, or good grief...Kelly-just to get to school and back! We remind ourselves over and over "in God's time, not our own". (I'm trying to be patient, God!) This has been a tough mountain to climb!
