An Afternoon Just the two of Us!

This morning we were able to sell our surround sound theater system!We don't have a use for it. We were given a Panasonic all in 1 TV. It plays DVDs, VHS and am/FM. I nice old beast of a TV! Shawn and I just needed a some us time! We of course took care of things that we needed to for the house. We bought a colander for a dollar,YAY! It has been a real chore draining spaghetti, while holding a hot lid in place with a dish towel! Our only splurge was 1/2 a gallon of cookies and cream ice cream. But best of all for a couple of hours we were able to spend some quiet time together! We went window shopping. Discussing what we still need for the house and how we plan to make the house best work for us. Having the girls with us 24/7 has made discussions about our situation, that should be just between Shawn and I, quite impossible. Unfortunately due to that the girls have taken on more stress than they needed.  It was a beautiful day here in Montgomery and I really enjoyed my afternoon!
