There is Farmland in Montgomery!

Shawn's friend, Ricky after picking up Kelly for school. Took Shawn around to show him some of Montgomery they used to hang out as teenagers! Then they came back to the house and picked up Kate Lynn and I to take us for a drive. He took us around showing us the country areas of Montgomery. There are some beautiful farms here in Montgomery! I really enjoyed checking out the more scenic areas of Montgomery! I told Shawn we need to hold to our lease and then look at houses in the more suburban areas of the city! Nothing like culture shock, we moved from the small town of North Conway right into the middle of the city of Montgomery! It was nice to visit an area that seemed a bit more to what I am used too! Earlier in the morning Kate Lynn and I ventured out and walked to the nearest grocery store. Walking in this area is quite tough, there are no side walks and cars will just assume run you over than let you cross! We need to learn how to be more aggressive, not only in our driving, but also in our walking! Beside the culture shock, there is the sticker shock! We were just looking to pick up something for dinner, inexpensive (remember the $8.54 in food stamps!) figured chicken would be a safe bet! Wrong!! A package of chicken drumsticks we would pay around $5 in New Hampshire is around $9 here. For chicken DRUMSTICKS! But you can buy a smoke shoulder half for less than $5! You can also buy things we do not eat up North, like chicken livers, chicken gizzards, pig ears, pig snouts and intestines! NO THANK YOU! We are learning!
