Between a rock and a hard place!

The mail has come and gone! Not a thing again! OK, I mentioned that I was worried, no that would be an understatement! With NO food stamps, no income and no assistance available we are truly in big trouble! When I say we have mother Hubbard's cupboards that too would be an understatement! We were given a couple bags of 15 bean soup mixes, it is looking like that is what we will be eating! They have not yet shut our water off, a miracle in it's own right! As long as the water is on we can keep filling Jugs. Because that is all we have to drink! Trust me when I say none of you would want to live quite like we are right now! There is NO joy in knowing that unless we receive a miracle, there will be nothing to eat! As it stands, we have oatmeal for breakfast, nothing for lunch and the 15bean soup I mentioned for dinner, and that will last us just another day or so (with leftovers!) Any one with teenagers know how much they eat! Imagine telling them they can not eat something, because we have to use it for a meal or they won't be eating! I keep picture us like some of the people down here, standing at the end of the interstate with a sign! Because the Social security reported that he will be receiving benefits and the welfare office felt we can wait until the checks come in we are absolutely in one of the toughest positions we have ever been in! It makes absolutely no sense! You would think that they would have waited to shut off the food stamps until after we actually received a check! And because of the greater need in Montgomery there is just nothing left be given out due to the holidays! But, please pray about and only help if you feel led! Shawn and I feel awful even putting it out here like this, the last thing we need is for everyone to think and treat us like beggars. Our dignity and humility are feeling pretty low as it is! We are trying so hard to hang on to every shred of dignity we can!
